The freezer side of our 648PRO was rock solid, which is exactly why I could not work out how the fresh-food compartment had drifted all the way up to 52 degrees. It was the evaporator fan motor — nothing was moving air into the upper cabinet. He had the OEM motor with him, fitted it, and the box was sitting at 38 degrees again by mid-afternoon.
Independent BlueStar Repair Specialists
BlueStar Repair in Greenwood Village
Restaurant-quality ranges for the home chef. Our brand-experienced technicians deliver expert BlueStar repair across the Denver Tech Center corridor using genuine OEM components.
Restaurant Engineering in a Home Kitchen
BlueStar builds appliances the way commercial equipment is built: heavy cast-iron grates, brass burners, and a hand-assembled approach that favors serviceable mechanical parts over sealed electronics. For the home cook that means genuine restaurant heat and precise control, but it also means the burners, igniters, and oven components benefit from technicians who understand how the system is meant to behave. We have worked on these ranges long enough to recognize when a symptom is a simple tuning issue versus a worn part, which keeps repairs targeted and honest.
Because so much of a BlueStar is mechanical, most repairs come down to cleaning, adjusting, or replacing a specific component rather than swapping an expensive board. That plays to the strengths of an independent shop that stocks genuine OEM igniters, thermocouples, valves, and burner parts. When we replace something on your range, it matches the original spec, so the appliance performs the way it did the day it was installed.

Fast Answers to Common Questions
Does Greenwood Appliance Repair work on all BlueStar appliances or just ranges?
We service the full BlueStar lineup, including sealed and open-burner ranges, rangetops, wall ovens, and cooktops, throughout the south Denver corridor. Greenwood Appliance Repair is an independent, brand-experienced company that installs only genuine OEM parts. Reach us anytime at (720) 702-9054; same-day and next-day appointments are common, each starting with a flat $89 diagnostic.
Is Greenwood Appliance Repair an authorized BlueStar service center?
No. We are a fully independent repair company and are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by BlueStar; the brand name simply identifies the appliances we service. That independence lets us focus on straightforward, honest repairs using genuine OEM parts. How fast can someone look at my BlueStar range in Cherry Hills Village?
In Cherry Hills Village and the surrounding south metro area, same-day or next-day service is typical for BlueStar work. Greenwood Appliance Repair runs repair visits every day from 8 AM to 6 PM and answers the phone around the clock at (720) 702-9054. The visit carries a flat $89 service call, and we quote the repair only after inspecting the appliance.
Local Service Across the South Denver Corridor
We serve BlueStar owners throughout Greenwood Village, the Denver Tech Center, Englewood, Columbine Valley, Bow Mar, Centennial, Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Castle Pines, and Parker. Working this corridor since 2016 has taught us how the region's 5,600-foot elevation and dry climate affect gas tuning and burner performance, and we bring that context to every appointment. It is the difference between a repair that lasts and one that drifts back out of adjustment a month later.
Getting help is simple: call (720) 702-9054 at any hour or book online. There is no contact form and no email to chase; a real person takes your call and schedules a visit, usually the same or next day. Every appointment begins with the flat $89 diagnostic, and nothing else happens until you have approved the price for the actual repair.

Our Wolf steam oven had been throwing a fill error for weeks and I kept putting off the call, assuming it would turn into an open-ended bill. It was a flat $89 to diagnose, and I had the price of the water pump before he pulled the unit forward an inch. He also mentioned our water is hard enough down here that those pumps rarely see an easy life.
Another company had already been out and told us the drain pump was failing, and quoted us accordingly. This technician spent about twenty minutes with the machine and showed me the drain solenoid was stuck closed — the pump was perfectly healthy. One visit, one part, and the puddle that had been sitting in the bottom of our Cove after every cycle is gone.
What sold me was that he refused to leave early. The condenser fan on our 736TCI had developed a bearing howl you could hear from the dining room, and after replacing it he sat there through two complete compressor cycles to be certain it stayed quiet under load. Most people would have written the ticket and gone.
Fully expected to be told the control board was dead — the column had locked itself out and the panel was showing a UI fault. Instead he cleared the lockout, put the current firmware on it, and charged us for the diagnostic and nothing else. He could have sold me a board that day and I would never have known the difference.
The first visit got it wrong. We were told the water line had frozen up and to give it a couple of days, and of course nothing changed. The second technician found the real fault fairly quickly — the auger motor in the ice maker had seized — and that repair was genuinely careful, tidy, and priced as quoted. Four stars because it should not have taken two trips.
