The freezer side of our 648PRO was rock solid, which is exactly why I could not work out how the fresh-food compartment had drifted all the way up to 52 degrees. It was the evaporator fan motor — nothing was moving air into the upper cabinet. He had the OEM motor with him, fitted it, and the box was sitting at 38 degrees again by mid-afternoon.

Answers at a Glance
Does Greenwood Appliance Repair service the whole Hestan lineup?
Yes. Greenwood Appliance Repair handles Hestan ranges, cooktops, and outdoor kitchen equipment across Greenwood Village, the DTC, Cherry Hills Village, and the south Denver corridor. We are an independent, brand-experienced service company using genuine OEM parts, not an authorized Hestan dealer. Call (720) 702-9054, answered 24/7, for same-day or next-day help.
Is Greenwood Appliance Repair affiliated with Hestan?
No. We are a fully independent repair company serving the Front Range since 2016, and the Hestan name simply identifies the products we fix. Our technicians are experienced with Hestan's commercial-grade engineering and install only genuine OEM and manufacturer-recommended parts. Booking is by phone at (720) 702-9054 or online.
How fast can a technician reach me for a Hestan repair near Denver?
Same-day and next-day appointments are typical throughout Greenwood Village, Littleton, Parker, Castle Pines, and the surrounding south Denver corridor. Greenwood Appliance Repair runs visits every day from 8 AM to 6 PM, and the phone at (720) 702-9054 is answered around the clock. A flat $89 diagnostic fee applies, with the repair quote given after an on-site inspection.
Commercial-Grade Hestan Engineering, Serviced Independently
Hestan grew out of a professional kitchen background, and that DNA shows in the way the appliances are built: heavy welded frames, high-BTU brass burners, precision-machined valves, and control systems designed for restaurant-level duty in a home setting. That same robustness is why Hestan repair rewards a technician who understands the platform rather than a generalist. We work across the brand's indoor cooking equipment and outdoor grilling gear, so a single call covers your kitchen and your patio.
Being an independent shop, we are not tied to a manufacturer schedule, which usually means we reach south Denver homeowners faster than a factory channel would. What does not change is our parts standard. Every Hestan repair we perform uses genuine OEM or manufacturer-recommended components, so igniters, valves, and control boards match the originals in fit and performance. Since 2016 we have built our reputation on that combination of speed and correctness.
Why South Denver Altitude Matters for Hestan Owners
The neighborhoods we serve, from Greenwood Village and the DTC to Cherry Hills Village, Columbine Valley, and Castle Pines, all sit near or above 5,600 feet. Thinner air changes how gas appliances breathe: combustion tuning, air-shutter settings, and orifice selection all shift compared with sea level, and a burner or grill set up incorrectly for elevation runs rich, sooty, or weak. Our technicians account for this on every Hestan visit rather than treating it as an afterthought.
Altitude also touches convection airflow and sealed-system behavior in the broader appliance category, which is why a proper diagnosis looks at more than the obvious symptom. When you call (720) 702-9054, you reach a team that knows both the Hestan hardware and the Colorado conditions it operates in, and that pairing is what keeps a repair from turning into a repeat visit.
A flat $89 service-call fee covers the on-site diagnosis of your Hestan appliance, and the exact cost of the repair itself is quoted afterward, once our technician has seen the fault and you have signed off.

Our Wolf steam oven had been throwing a fill error for weeks and I kept putting off the call, assuming it would turn into an open-ended bill. It was a flat $89 to diagnose, and I had the price of the water pump before he pulled the unit forward an inch. He also mentioned our water is hard enough down here that those pumps rarely see an easy life.
Another company had already been out and told us the drain pump was failing, and quoted us accordingly. This technician spent about twenty minutes with the machine and showed me the drain solenoid was stuck closed — the pump was perfectly healthy. One visit, one part, and the puddle that had been sitting in the bottom of our Cove after every cycle is gone.
What sold me was that he refused to leave early. The condenser fan on our 736TCI had developed a bearing howl you could hear from the dining room, and after replacing it he sat there through two complete compressor cycles to be certain it stayed quiet under load. Most people would have written the ticket and gone.
Fully expected to be told the control board was dead — the column had locked itself out and the panel was showing a UI fault. Instead he cleared the lockout, put the current firmware on it, and charged us for the diagnostic and nothing else. He could have sold me a board that day and I would never have known the difference.
The first visit got it wrong. We were told the water line had frozen up and to give it a couple of days, and of course nothing changed. The second technician found the real fault fairly quickly — the auger motor in the ice maker had seized — and that repair was genuinely careful, tidy, and priced as quoted. Four stars because it should not have taken two trips.
